Introduction

A phrasal verb is one whose meaning is altered by the addition of a particle (a proposition used with a verb to form an idiomatic expression.) To look, for example, may become to look up or to look over, each having its own special meaning.

Here, our aim is to make ESL and EFL learners familiar with a number of these phrasal verbs so that they can both use and understand them in their daily conversations.
